Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 8, 2026

Welcome to ExamRanks. Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy details how we collect, use, and responsibly protect your exam data when you utilize our score calculator and rank prediction tools.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit a candidate response sheet URL (such as from Digialm or TCS NTA portals), we parse the data strictly to extract the examination variables necessary to accurately calculate your score. This primarily includes:

  • Roll Number & Candidate Name (for identity validation)
  • Question & Answer selections (to calculate correct/incorrect marks against official answer keys)
  • Exam Date, Shift Timing, and Subject Data (utilized strictly for accurate Shift Normalization computation)

2. How We Use the Data

The parsed exam data is used intrinsically to power the ExamRanks prediction engine. By contributing your raw score to the collective database, our system is able to provide both you and other candidates with highly accurate Normalized Ranks, Shift Toughness Analytics, and Category-wise filtering.

3. Data Protection & Obfuscation

We do not sell, rent, or recklessly distribute your personal identifying data to malicious third parties. We employ standard web security protections to prevent unauthorized access. Additionally, we provide candidates a native option to set a Personal Password during their form submission—acting as a cryptographic layer to lock your specific result card from public directory searches.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

We use "cookies" to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize our web page content based upon visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

5. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

6. Consent

By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its Terms and Conditions. By checking the consent box during submission of exam URLs, you formally authorize ExamRanks to read your response URL, extract the testing attributes mentioned above, and calculate your competitive standing among peers.

If you have any questions or wish to request removal of your rank data, please contact platform administration.
